Galicia medals 2024

Today we attended the GALICIA MEDALS 2024 delivery ceremony at the Centro Gaiás Museum, in Santiago de Compostela.

AGEINCO has been represented by the President, Daniel Prieto, along with the Secretary, Marta Gallego.

The Medal of Galicia is the highest decoration awarded by the #Xunta to people or institutions for merits in the service of Galicia in social, cultural or economic aspects, being a recognition of the Galician people.

At the event, the president of the Xunta, Alfonso Rueda, was in charge of presiding over the event, beginning his speech remembering the sailors who died in the Malvinas waters with a minute of silence in the room that was respected by the entire public as a sign of respect.

🏅 This year, the recipients of the Galician medal were the actor Luis Tosar, the film producer Zaza Ceballos and the Academia Galega do Audiovisual. The Xunta thus celebrates the successes achieved by Galician cinema and audiovisuals, in the words of the head of the Xunta, “clear exponents of a “strategic” sector for the present and future of GALICIA.”

At the event we shared knowledge and aspects with representatives of the Galician road association and the Official Association of Industrial Engineers of Galicia.
