AGEINCO Hosts a New Forum with Augas de Galicia to Address Water Management Challenges

On 7 April, the Galician Cluster Association of Engineering, Consultancy and Technology Services Companies (AGEINCO) held a new edition of its Working and Networking Forum, featuring Roi Fernández Añón, Director of Augas de Galicia, as guest speaker.

The event brought together member companies and collaborators in a space for direct dialogue with the public administration, where the main challenges and strategic priorities related to water management in Galicia were discussed. During the session, key topics were addressed, including river basin planning, the modernisation of water infrastructure, the sustainable management of water resources, and the adaptation of territories to the challenges posed by climate change.

The forum also provided attendees with first-hand insight into the priorities and strategic projects of Augas de Galicia, while helping to identify opportunities for collaboration between the agency and companies operating in the sector in the development, planning, and implementation of initiatives related to the integrated water cycle.

AGEINCO continues to support this type of forum, which helps strengthen connections between the public sector and the business community, fostering collaboration, creating synergies, and encouraging the active participation of Galician companies in strategic projects that contribute to the sustainable development of the region.

The event concluded with a networking session among attendees, reinforcing the value of these initiatives as a meeting point for members and key stakeholders within the sector’s ecosystem.
