Founded in 2018, WILLBÖ has established itself as a naval and industrial engineering company based in Vigo, with a support office in Mumbai, specialising in comprehensive engineering solutions ranging from the conceptual design stage through to production. The company employs a team of more than 30 engineers and delivers projects for shipowners, shipyards, and industrial clients, combining technical expertise, flexibility, and an execution-oriented methodology.

WILLBÖ’s activities are organised into two main divisions: Marine Engineering and Industrial Engineering. In the marine sector, the company provides conceptual, basic, detailed, production, and retrofit design services, including structural design, outfitting, integration engineering, and class approval packages. In the industrial sector, WILLBÖ operates across industries such as energy, oil and gas, renewable energy, petrochemicals, and heavy industry, offering expertise in process engineering, P&ID development, HAZOP studies, CFD analysis, green hydrogen, e-methanol, ammonia technologies, and Power-to-X solutions.

In addition to its engineering services, WILLBÖ develops proprietary solutions such as CAPCO2, an onboard CO₂ capture system for commercial vessels, and holö, a mixed reality platform designed for shipyards, EPC contractors, and asset owners; the platform enables users to overlay 3D models onto real-world environments, enhancing project reviews, documentation processes, and technical collaboration.
