Yesterday our honorary president, Carmen Lopez, together with Mar García, member of AGEINCO, attended the CEDE working breakfast with Óscar García Maceiras, CEO of Inditex, under the title “Inditex, a company in constant evolution”.
During the meeting, Garcia Maceiras described the four key pillars of Inditex’s success and stressed that “collaboration is key to success in an industry that depends on multiple actors and brands”, highlighting the fundamental role of cooperation between companies.
He also stressed Inditex’s commitment to sustainability, pointing out that the company has established important objectives in this area. Inditex has set itself the goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2040 and has projected that, by 2030, all its materials will be more sustainable.
The CEO of Inditex has highlighted the company’s commitment to training, mentioning that the company has invested more than three million hours in training its employees in various areas.
A very instructive meeting that leads us to a clear reflection about the company culture and the business model.
